WELCOME TO TRUNORTH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
Ishpeming Community Federal Credit Union is now TruNorth Federal Credit Union. While our name is changing, we still have the same friendly staff and top-notch products and services you’ve come to expect. Our new name and new look reflect our mission of guiding you in the right direction toward a solid financial future. To What is the credit union’s new name?
Moving forward, Ishpeming Community Federal Credit Union will be known as TruNorth Federal Credit Union.
Why did we change our name?
We needed a name that would align us better with our five county, community-based membership. Many of our members are not from Ishpeming and most of our potential members live outside of Ishpeming.
Why select this name?
This name combines tradition and the future. TruNorth fits the credit union as "Tru" reminds our members of truth, trustworthiness, and confidence while "north" reflects the geographic area. Is staffing going to change? No. While our name is changing, you can still expect the same great personal service from the same employees you have come to know and trust. Our commitment to service will not change. What’s going to change? The only changes are visual. We have a new name and logo. It Pays to get All A's
We would like to remind our Kirby Kangaroo and CU Succeed members about our "It Pays to Have All A's" program. All you need to provide is your report card at the end of each quarter showing that you received all A's (all O's for elementary age children). We will then make a copy of your report card and enter you in a random drawing for a $25 cash deposit to your account! If you get all A's each quarter, then you can enter our drawing four times total for that school year. We will give a minimum of two weeks after report cards are issued before we draw for a winner. Once a winner is picked, they will be contacted by the credit union. Good luck to everyone this coming school year!Safe Deposit Fees
If you have a safe deposit box, the fee for 2013 will be deducted from your share account (00 savings) during January. Safe deposit box rental fees range from $15 to $35 per year, depending on the size of the box. Rental rates are listed below. Please make sure you have enough money in your share account to cover the fee.

Home Teller gives you the ability to view and print your statements. You will receive an E-mail letting you know that the newest statement is available for viewing in the Home Teller. If you prefer to use the Home Teller, however, wish to have a statement mailed to you, you will need to sign an "Opt Out" form at one of our offices. You may also Opt Out of this feature with a secure email from your Home Teller site. We encourage you to sign up for this benefit. Many statements are archived and available at the touch of a button.
BILL PAY AVAILABLE!
We offer Bill Pay along with the Home Teller. You must have an active Checking Account to sign up. (cannot be tied to a Money Market) This feature is at no cost to you. We do ask that you have at least 4 payments per month. Your service may be removed if two consecutive months, without the minimum, occur.
